Gerald Mandisodza is a socio-legal scholar and social justice advocate pursuing a PhD in Law at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. His research focuses on how rural women’s dispute resolution choices strengthen traditional law institutions and women’s property rights in South Africa. He holds an MA in Labour Policy and Globalisation from the University of the Witwatersrand, where he studied internal democracy and unionism within South Africa’s trade unions. His work centers on law, gender equality, and social justice, with a commitment to empowering marginalized communities.
