Razan Ali is a Sudanese advocate and a doctoral researcher at the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria. She holds LLM degrees in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin and in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa from the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria. Her research focuses on corporate accountability for complicity in atrocity crimes and conflict financing in Sudan, particularly in the conflict-affected gold sector. Razan is also a Mellon Emerging Scholars Fellow at Columbia University.
