The chair of African Legal Studies is hosting a series of debates on human rights in Africa. For the second session we have invited Desmond Mhango, Executive Director of the Centre of Youth and Children’s Affairs, Malawi. He presents on “Child Labour Impacting on the future of Malawi Society” and gives insights into
– the current state of protection against Child Labour in Malawi
– the lived realities of children
– what more needs to be done to enhance protection beyond the existing legal and institutional frameworks.
